The Fountain Pen
I was looking at fountain pens in a show window. One could do all types of writing including wide filling and fine writing. The shop owner told me it cost $3. I did not buy it.
The dreamer has a strong creative writing ability (fountain pen). Prices on symbols in dreams often indicate the effort required to develop what it symbolizes. The price is $3 so it is asking her to commit to develop this skill, but we see her reluctance to do so. She says " I did not buy it". She did not buy into the fact that she has this ability, yet the dream is commenting on her responsiblity (shop window) to develop it in this lifetime.
Her subconscious wasn’t ready to integrate the message (not buying the pen) — which is completely normal. Now that she knows to work with this skill in waking life, her dreams will naturally change, showing her what’s ready to be addressed next to lead her into her best life.
